With thirty years experience, I have built up a deep knowledge of business. Not just the fundamentals but also at the cutting edge of management and technology with specific expertise in financial services/FinTech and light engineering. Business and marketing strategy, from vision to production to sales, are areas where I plan with company owners in scaling their businesses.

A question I am often asked by business owners “what are your qualifications to be a business coach?” The answer is that I have done a lot of business. I have had four of my own and run a number for some corporates. During the last thirty years, I have bought, sold and turned around companies across Britain in sectors as diverse as packaging, lighting and stockbroking as well as chemicals and oil. In addition, I have worked with many company owners, CEO’s and other senior managers coaching them through their leadership and business issues, over 10,000 hours at the last count. The truth is that I love all types of business, whether they are in the lofty heights of Canary Wharf, where I am based, or the rather more humble back streets of Deptford.

In terms of qualifications I have an MBA, I am a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment and have several advanced coaching diplomas for both life and business coaching. In addition, I was the first Director of Development for the International Coaching Federation in the UK and a founder member of the Association of Coaching.

Outside of work, I am involved with my local church, enjoy digital photography and am a freeman of the Guild of Entrepreneurs.
