Time is money! Here are four habits to make sure you are using your time most efficiently to achieve what you want.

1. Focus on one thing at a time
Multitasking is difficult, you are constantly changing your attention which means that time is lost and quality is more difficult to attain. Rearrange your time so that you can focus on one project. It will also help you prioritise rather than react to interruptions.

2 Delegating
Getting others to do things increases your reach, you can be doing something different. The worst thing is to micromanage, which is wasting not only your time but also the other person’s as well.

3 Set deadlines – and keep them!
Parkinson Law – work expands so as to fill the time available – is so true. Setting sensible deadlines makes the most of your time and puts off the scourge of procrastination.

4 Have goals
They help you organise and prioritise. When used with the three points above they will get you to achieve much more. In addition will show your progress and increase your motivation Remember to celebrate when you reach them!

Putting in to practice these four tips will generate more of what you want. If you are having trouble with any of these give me a call and we can set up some sessions to get you moving forward.
